===================================
Required Peer review of Projects and Exercises / Powerpoint Presentations - Each student is required to post a substantial comment on two fellow students projects and exercises each week. Resist the temptation to be quick and sloppy–as when some write using all lower case or when writers never bother to correct typos. Avoid “colloquial” language like, “Yo dudes, how yall doen?” Substantive means to share a serious, thoughtful, reflective comment or question, or it is a means to educate us about something you have read. Note also that no more than one entry per week is allowed and that no entries may be made the last two weeks of the semester. Your instructor reads every entry but does not comment on all.
===================================
Post your comments about the assignment after you have submitted and completed your work - comments are required for all assignments! Thank you!

Other Comments:
This was really easy to set up. My only concern was that I wasn't confident that I put the correct link.
ReplyDeleteIt seems useful and easy to set up. My only concern was that I wasn't confident that I put the correct link, so I logged off and searched for my page and then I copied the link. This can be very useful for other students because of the layout you can do for you presentations. I really liked the presentation transcript, and there was nothing that I didn't like once I found my link.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the set up was easy, I'm a little worried about how this website works. I'm sure as time passes I will figure it out. I liked that I will just have to upload my presentations instead of worrying about saving it to a flash drive or disk.
ReplyDeleteIt was very easy to sign up on but i have never heard of this sight so i am very excited to use it. I would love to use a sight that i can share my power points.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this particular site before but I think it will be extremely useful as we make this transition of paper documents to electronic documents. I am a fast learner so once i fidget with the sire a little bit I am sure it won't be to hard to grasp.Overall, there was nothing that I disliked about the site. I am always curios about different sites like these that will enhance our technological skills.
ReplyDeleteI like the different slides that are on the site. Hopefully seeing these examples will help me learn how to make lively slides. I have never really been a fan of doing any so maybe this will change it around. I still need to see exactly how it works once I play around with it for a while. My only problem was getting my link to work correctly. I wasn't capable of having a proper URL. This is the first site that I have encountered a problem with, the others have gone been smoothly.
ReplyDeleteSlideBoom is a catchy title, and the different account levels caught my interest. The business level costs a pretty penny for the additional features, but the non- commercial level has several beneficial features, with an exception of the ads. I have created several power points in the past, and I was not able to share them via email because they exceed the size requirements—this site is a solution. I will take delight in using SlideBoom for group presentations.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I had a minor problem with finding my link. After backtracking a little, I was able to find it okay. Honestly, I am not so sure about how this website works, but after a few practices I am sure it will easy. Curiosity usually is the reason why I learn how to do something more quickly. If not I will be sure to ask for assistance ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteThis website seems easy to use. Just like the other ones, it proves to be useful. I like that it is easy to upload things and easy to save them. The only part I did not like was the stress from trying to find my link. Not sure if I sent the right link or not still. :( but other than that everything was easy. I would tell another student that they might find this task useful.
ReplyDeleteThis website looks easy. I had to upload a power point to in order to save my page. I cant wait to use this site, simply because i am a creative person, and being able to view other peoples creations will be exciting. My link did not look like yours that was the problems I had with this site. Yes, i will share this site with other students. I am looking forward to using this site though.
ReplyDeleteThis assingment was pretty easy. It was just hard for me to find my link so i can email it to you. But other than that everything was a piece of cake. I will be letting all my friends know about this website so that it will make their jobs as students easier.
ReplyDeleteEasy assignment. When I was playing around with the things on the website I found that I really like it. I could really use this in my other classes.
ReplyDeleteThis task was fairly easy. I look forward to using this wevsite along with all of the others. It seems to be very informative yet uncomplicated which is always the best way to be. I am excited to see my skills using technology grow over the course of this semester and I feel as though these websites are going to be the cause of that.
ReplyDeleteThis task was pretty simple as far as execution. I can't wait to master this website and use it for future assignments and other classes as well. This should prove to be a useful tool.
ReplyDeleteTask #5 was very simple I'm looking forward to doing the assignment in the future working with the slideshows.
ReplyDeleteThis task was relatively quick. Thank you so much Khiry, for your post. Your advice helped me to make sure I was able to enter my link in correctly. I appreciate feedback from people who find ways over hurdles. I think this helps us all move forward. I would have liked SCRIBD to have had some way to share PowerPoint that would make this site obsolete.
ReplyDeleteAnother simple task, easy to set up. Hoping we will be using it to make our assignment more presentable. Like the McDonalds commercial said. "Am Lovin It"
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think it's amazing how one class can open all these doors of technology and resources.
ReplyDeleteThis assignment was also very simple and easy. I liked all the features that slideboom.com had to offer. I like that it integrated the internet and powerpoint because often people try to add internet links to powerpoint and this is at times challenging to do. I would certainly refer another student to this site.
ReplyDeleteI liked this site because I learned about a free site to create powerpoint presentations. The site was very easy to use and allows users to access their powerpoint presentations from any computer. My only concern about future projects regarding this assignment is the critique from my peers. Although I do welcome constructive criticism, I feel that the professor's opinion should matter the most because they have the highest level of education.
