This easy-to-use Web-based application from the author of The Bedford Researcher assists students with the process of collecting sources, and generates bibliographies in MLA, APA, CSE, and Chicago Styles.
Using the Bedford Bibliographer, students create virtual source cards on which they can record bibliographic information, write annotations, evaluate sources, and even save text from electronic sources such as news articles that might be changed or removed.

I found this assignment to be very helpful. Using Bedford will help me with my APA style references. It seemed very easy, so I'm sure throughout the year it will be helpful. However, I didn't like how I had to send each entry one by one. Overall, Bedford will be helpful this year once I start working on my research paper.
ReplyDeleteDealing with this assignment was fine but I find myself liking assignment 2 better personally. This website that I had to used with this website was simple and very easy to use. Working with this over the fall semester shouldn't be that bad. The instructions that came with the website were understandable. I look forward to working with this program in the future.
ReplyDeleteI never seen this website before and it doesn't look too difficult. i do know that i am going to have to play around with this site to get the hang of it. I think should help me be more organized when doing research throughout this semester as well.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time ever using, let alone knowing anything about this website. It is definitely something I will have to adjust to. Being assigned to go ahead and practice now is what I like the most. I'd rather practice now versus being completely lost in the future. It is a clean and neat way to format information collected from different articles, magazines, books and so forth. This is just one of the many useful things that has been thrown at us.
ReplyDeleteThis assignment was informative. I am glad that we were able to have this assignment so when we actually do have to do it everyone will know how to. The instructions were clear and I liked that everything was set up for me and all I had to do was enter the information. Not only can you use it for journals but you can use it for any other type of material, print and online. The technology was easy to use. I had never heard of this website before so this was definitely something new to me. I would tell another student about this useful new tool.
ReplyDeleteThis was my first time using this website. It was very helpful, it just took time finding actual articles instead of abstracts. I would use this in other classes and recommend this to other people. It wouldn't be anything I would do on my own considering its time consuming. At first I was kind of lost then i actually read and got the hang of it. Filling out the information was easy, it just took time.

This assignment was very helpful. Making the account was very easy. But at first I had a hard time trying to understand what the assignment was about. But after five mins everything was easy. I am glad that you recommend these websites.Thank you. They are very helpful.
ReplyDeleteThis assignment was indeed helpful. Much similar to other websites such as bibme.org and citation machine. I think this site was more accurate than the others. It is very time consuming, whereas the other sites populate the basic information for you so that was the part that took me the longest. Overall I would definitely recommend this site to my peers especially those who are English majors.
ReplyDeleteI really disliked this task. I had he entire assignment completed and had to start over on a small technicality. I was slightly confused initially, but I figured it out. This website itself is also slightly confusing. After entering the information, I expected to see a "create citation" button, or something along those lines. Instead you have to hit save and close in order to see the finished product. Overall, I did not enjoy my first experience with the site, but it is beneficial and I will utilize it.
ReplyDeleteThis task was most definitely a time consumer. A little confusing at first, but I caught on quickly. It is quite helpful. I will most definitely utilize it myself and recommend it to others. Its similar to others bibliography engines, but a little more work has to be done to complete it versus the others I have used.
ReplyDeleteI'll utilize this website as a definite resource, but I will admit that it was tedious. The website didn't have the clearest of instructions, but it will surely come in handy in the future. This has been my least favorite task by far.
ReplyDeleteI found this task to be a bit more tedious than the first task. However, the site does seem to be helpful and I am sure it will prove to be so in the future. I enjoy the creative type activities more but sometimes you must make sure you the other side of the brain to good use! As a Political Science and History major I mostly work with the Chicago style, so it’s nice to get a refresher in APA.
ReplyDeleteThis website is a great way to gain adequate information on research that you may be looking up. I find this to be very useful and helpful. I believe that throughout the course of this semester that this particular website will be very useful. I look forward to taking the steps needed in order to succeed not only by conquering each and every task given but by fulling grasping its importance and usefullness in the real world as well as daily life.

ReplyDeleteIn addition to completing the task, I also added notes concerning corporal punishment. The website it seems will prove itself to be handy. It was great that not only my work is now cited, but I have a central location for the data I collected regardless of my location
ReplyDeleteI did not like this assignment. I found the website to be difficult because all of the information had to be entered manually. In other APA generators I have used in the past, I simply had to insert the url of the article I was reading and the rest of the information was generated for me. Although the website was easy to use, I could only send my bibliography to myself and it was very tedious and it took me almost 30 minutes to complete. I am not looking forward to use this generator in the future because I think it is an outdated way of creating citations
